Erofla, a family story in Casteau
Erofla La Castelloise was founded in 2002 by Liliane Salamone. Today her son Eros carries on the story with her and the team, around Italian cooking and products.
Italian products as a starting point
Before Erofla, Liliane already worked in Italian food as a wholesaler. That experience and the relationships built with suppliers helped shape the business.
Eros joined the company in 2011. After ten years there, he became a sales representative, then came back to Casteau. He officially took over the management in October 2025.
Roots you can taste in the kitchen
Sicily on Liliane's side, Sardinia and Emilia-Romagna on the side of Eros's father: several Italian regions are part of the family story. They inspire the house and our wish to share these products.
Porchetta has become our speciality. Around it, the counter, the ready meals and the grocery also cover everyday meals.
The people you meet here
Eros, Liliane, Marie and Anandi make up the team. At the shop, you can ask a question, prepare an order and take your time to choose. We want to keep this direct relationship, even when your first contact is through the website.
A place where you can also sit down
The tasting area, opened in 2025, has 18 seats. You can take a break there with something from the shop, depending on availability.
The place has changed, but the idea stays simple: to welcome you with cooking and products we enjoy sharing.
